Direct hire - ouder

We are glad you love your sitter or nanny enough to want to work with her directly. We completely understand. At sitr. we are open about this: it is possible, and we will sort it out together in a proper way. This page explains how it works, what the costs are, and what we expect from each other.

What is a direct hire?

A direct hire means that you arrange childcare directly with your sitter or nanny, without sitr. as an intermediary. You handle everything between yourselves: the schedule, the payment, and the agreements.

In return, you pay sitr. a one-time direct hire fee. This covers the investment sitr. has made in the screening, training, and matching process for your sitter or nanny.

Costs

Part-time (fewer than 20 hours per week)XCG 350

Full-time (20 hours per week or more)XCG 600

Please note: The category is based on the expected hours at the time of the agreement. If the arrangement structurally grows beyond 20 hours per week within 6 months, an additional fee of XCG 250 applies.

Minimum rate for your sitter or nanny

sitr. asks you to pay your sitter or nanny at least the following hourly rate in a direct arrangement:

Babysitterminimum XCG 15 per hour

Nannyminimum XCG 18 per hour

This is a condition of the direct hire agreement, in place to protect your sitter or nanny.

How does it work in practice?

You let sitr. know you want to hire directly via WhatsApp or email.

After one month of booking through sitr. you will receive an invoice based on the agreed category (part-time or full-time).

After payment the direct arrangement officially starts on the agreed date.

From that point on you arrange everything directly with your sitter or nanny.
